Well, the cat show didn’t work out. We wound up being placed in a really dark part of the show hall, right by the show photographer. So not only was it too dark for people to visit and take photos, exhibitors were constantly rushing past with their cats.
It wasn’t the show’s fault. The person arranging the benching didn’t know the layout of this show hall, because she’d never been there before. And unfortunately, they didn’t have another spot to place us. So we tried to make it work for about an hour. My human even set up a battery-powered photo light to brighten up my spot. But it was clear it just wasn’t a good spot for us so we packed up and left.

But it wasn’t a total loss for me…because I had fun in the hotel! We got there the day before the show and stayed overnight.

My human got a fish dinner. And for some reason, that was the moment she started tossing treats across the room for me to chase.

Then I got to go on a walk in the hotel — one of my favorite activities!

While we were at the front desk, my human asked for a shower cap. I wonder why.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before, and my human met the hotel cat, Hilton. She was wondering if he was still there…and he was!

In fact, he now had a friend!

So even if I didn’t get to have a show, I still had fun! I even got to meet some cat show attendees in the lobby. Paws crossed that next time will be lots better!
