It’s Cat World Domination Day! So I thought I’d throw a summer party. Only a problem developed: there’s a huge warehouse fire that’s been burning for days and spewing chemical smoke. Even though the fire isn’t near us, the smoke is all over our area and we didn’t want to go outside. So the party has to be inside.

Even though the party’s inside, I’m still going to wear a bikini. It’s brand new, and it’s from my big bag of Ross outfits my human got recently.

Okay, so this may not be my most fabulous bikini. In fact, my human’s boyfriend started laughing and said I looked like I was wearing an 1890s swimsuit. I guess I’ll have to do a modeling video at some point so you can get a better look.

But never mind that — onto the party!

We’re serving up catnip coladas.

And I’ve got my new favorite treats: Purr Pops!

And I’ve got a tote bag with some summer reading for you!

It’s a book that is coming out today! It’s by a longtime friend of ours, Susan Helene Gottfried. She wrote a series called Tales from the Sheep Farm, and the fifth book featured an orange cat on the cover. The cat drew so much attention that she spun him off into his own series. Which only proves how much cats dominate.

The first book is called Sir Ginger and the Missing Glove, and my human has enjoyed reading it lots. And our friend Susan has a link for you where you can download the first three chapters for free!
