Summer's first therapy cat visit for the holidays was at the big hospital, and while she only saw a few patients, she made lots of staff happy.

I wore my festive jingle bell collar for my first therapy cat visit of December! Even though it was a quiet day, I made a lot of people at the big hospital happy.

My first stop was the Cancer Center, but they had already finished the day’s infusions. I did get to visit with the nurse there, which was really nice. And there was a woman in the waiting room who wanted to take photos of me. Of course, I was happy to oblige!

The Pediatrics ward was quiet too. The only child there was in Isolation, so we couldn’t visit. But the Residents Workroom was busy, so we stopped there and they were so excited! I mean, like really, really happy to see me! One guy didn’t even care that I walked on his keyboard. They were total cat people.

After that I stopped at Labor and Delivery, which is always fun. The nurses love seeing me, and one even announced my arrival on the speaker. I visited with them for quite a while, and there was also a patient for me to see. She was there with her partner and another family member. My human was able to chat with them in a combination of English and Spanish and we all enjoyed the visit.

Finally we stopped by Behavioral Medicine. They brought out two younger women to see me, and they were both animal people. I sat on the table and gave out a few paw shakes, and enjoyed the attention. The two of them chatted with my human about their pets, past and present and it was such a nice visit for everyone.

Although it wasn’t a busy visit, we sure filled it up with people! And while we were going to the different parts of the hospital, we ran into lots of people who wanted to see me for a few minutes. So it was still a full, fun visit.
