I came out to visit the peach kitty. It’s been cold so my human put a sweater coat on me. I’m not used to the chilly weather the way the outside cats are.

He was happy to see me, as he always is. But we had a surprise this time.

His mom showed up too! That’s not the surprise, though. She actually comes around a lot. The surprise is that she didn’t immediately run away from my human. She kept her distance, but she stuck around and was clearly interested in what we were doing.

The peach kitty, of course, didn’t have any problem hanging out and relaxing.

He often takes treats from my human. My human kept trying to toss treats towards his mom, but she could never get any close enough to her.

Still, this was a lot of progress for her! So my human put me back inside and left some treats on the enclosed patio for the peach kitty and his mom. She enjoyed them after my human was safely back inside. You can see the visit in the video below.
