Summer's human brings home a monster cat costume from the pet store, but it turns out to be a monstrosity of a fail.

When my human got my Glinda costume, she also found this two-piece “Monster” cat costume.

Here’s a better look at it, before my human removed it from the packaging. She had her doubts about it from the start because the head part looked a little big, and the body part looked a little small.

And well, yes, the body part turned out to be too small. Way too small!

It’s not like she didn’t check the size guide either. It says it’s supposed to fit cats between 8.5″ and 12″ long, and I’m right about 11″ long. But this was more for a two-month old kitten! So we ditched the shirt (she almost had to cut it off me), and just went with the head.

Which predictably was too large, and also ill-fitting.

My human felt so bad about making me wear this costume, that she put a dress on me, just so I wouldn’t feel like I wasted my time. And I got extra treats.
