Summer looks back at 2015, and at the ways her life was different - and similar - her life was compared to now.
I haven’t done a throwback post in a long time! So I thought I’d look back at July 2015, and see how different things were then. It seems like several lifetimes ago now.

Young Somali cat wearing a skull dress with a tulle skirt
I was just a few months past my first birthday, and I was already happily modeling dresses! Back then, I only had a handful of them.

Somali cat with her tongue out, sampling jars of catnip
Somehow it seems like the products I got to try out were better back then. Here I am, sampling different jars of catnip and valerian.

Somali cat looking defiant with chewed up bag of treats in front of her
I don’t chew up bags of treats anymore like I used to! But that’s possibly because my human keeps them shut away in a cabinet now.

Somali cat sniffing a sprig of catnip, next to a catnip garden
We had an awesome catnip garden out back for a long time. Years later, it met a sad fate. It got attacked by bugs and never had a second chance at life because the peach kitty kept destroying the young plants.

Somali cat and tortoiseshell cat in the exam room of a vet clinic
I wasn’t a therapy cat yet, and my human was finding different ways to get me out of the house so I’d learn to be comfortable everywhere. That included accompanying Binga on veterinary checkups. She was about 14-1/2 at the time.

This was a pretty typical month for me back then! So what do you think? Would you like to see more throwback posts like this one? Let me know in the comments.
