*Amy has been adopted as of 3/12/11!!!!**

*i did a nice little voiceover from Bambi halfway through the video that starts at like 0:32 or 0:33 . thought it would be cute/a bit sad to add that in there. the music kind of overpowered it but its saying “She’s never coming back…is she?” which represents Amy wondering if her owner was ever gonna come back* 🙁
Introducing Amy! (petfinder page here.. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/18716367 )

Amy is one of our newest rescues. She is 2 yrs old and approx. 30 lbs. What a cutie!
Amy is pretty mellow and is quite shy right now. Since she is new to our rescue, we aren’t sure if this is how she is all the time, or if she is just overwhelmed by all of the changing experiences she has encountered over the last few weeks. We do know that Amy loves other dogs and would do great in a household with other furry companions. She is fine with cats as well.
Amy’s foster home is getting to know her better. As we learn more, we will update this posting. So far, Amy is a wonderful house-guest, loving to lay on her dog bed and in her crate. She is house-trained.
Interested in meeting and possibly adopting Amy? Fill-out an online adoption application via www.sadiemaefoundation.org. $300 adoption donation, reference check and home visit are required prior to adoption.
While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation’s adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals. We don’t want them to go through this again. Visit www.sadiemaefoundation.org to learn about the adoption process in detail.
