This holiday season, the Arizona Humane Society is excited to partner with the BISSELL Pet Foundation for their Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope Event, bringing you an amazing opportunity to find your perfect pet during this wonderful time of year. From Wednesday, December 4 to Sunday, December 8, all pets 7 months and older will be $0 to adopt at all three of our adoption locations!
Whether you’re looking for a loyal dog to join your family for the season’s celebrations or a loving cat to curl up with and watch some Christmas movies, this is the perfect time to adopt. We have a wide variety of animals waiting to find their forever homes, all ready to bring endless joy to your life no matter the time of year.
Don’t miss out on this furrily festive event! Mark your calendar and visit us anytime between December 4-8 to adopt your new companion for $0. We can’t wait to help you find your paw-fect match!

- All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and adopters will take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food
Give Back for Homeless Pets
Another great way to celebrate the season of giving is by taking advantage of our Holiday Giving Trees now available through the end of the year! Pet lovers can remove the tag of their choice from the trees at each of our three locations and bring them to the shelter’s Petique Shop to purchase their selected gift for pets. Tags range from items such as hot dogs to help give dogs a delicious treat to medical equipment that will be utilized in our Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital. Online purchases can also be made to grant a pet’s furry wishes by visiting azhumane.org/wishlist.
